Dr. Virdee’s patients benefit from her unique treatment approach, which emphasizes thorough medical evaluation and diagnostic testing alongside compassionate care that is geared towards educating and empowering her patients to improve their health naturally. Because of her approach, many of her patients have described her as the missing link in their medical team.
Born and raised in Maryland, she completed her undergraduate studies at St. Mary’s College of Maryland. While at St. Mary’s, she was awarded for research she did in the field of developmental biology. Her interest in integrative medicine lead her to graduate with high honors at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. She also completed a general medicine residency with a focus on cardiometabolic health, pediatrics, and men and women’s health.
Along with being in practice since 2013, she has taught clinical nutrition and medical immunology at the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine and has had her research published in a number of medical journals and newspapers including but not limited to the Arizona Republic, Global Advances in Health and Medicine Journal, and the Journal of Alternative and Complimentary Medicine. She also hosts her own public radio show that provides our local community the latest information on natural health and wellness. You can listen in on the fourth Saturday of every month from 9-10 AM on WPKN 89.5 (www.wpkn.org).
