What is important to you? What gives your life meaning?
This class is designed to help facilitate having a very important conversation with yourself and
your loved ones. It is paramount for you to know what you want so you can be clear when
communicating to others. Class will be divided into 4 one and a half our sessions. Using “The
Conversation “ starter kit, Dot Mayorga RN will guide you formulating your ideas expressing
end of life wishes. Topics of discussion are: Why talking matters; Getting ready to have the
conversation; What’s most important to you about how you want to live your end of life; and
How to choose a health care decision maker. When complete , you will have the tools
necessary for this conversation and the information needed to create a legal end of life
Dot Mayorga RN has been a registered nurse for 20 years . She has served the communities of
Talbot, Caroline, Dorchester and Queen Anne counties. She has been a Hospice nurse for 9
years and is the owner of “ Connecting the Dots in healthcare”, a consulting service of end of
life issues.
