Optimizing Wellness through Meditation

Dates:  6 Thursdays, 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM starting April 26th and ending May 31th, 2018

 Investment:  $165. Or early bird $150 by April 18th. You will be asked to meditate 7 minutes daily. The first class cannot be missed.

You are warmly invited to attend a six-session course designed to help you learn how to

enhance your ability to be calmer and more energetic at the same time, to be more fully present to yourself and others. Meditation is one of many ways of experiencing flow, that sense of life unfolding effortlessly, if only for a short while.  This course is appropriate for both those who are new to meditation and those who are experienced. 

The course is designed to be enjoyable and highly interactive, with plenty of group discussions.

You will learn:

  • How to meditate if you are new to the practice, or how to continue deepening your practice if you are experienced
  • How to bring awareness, presence, and flow into your daily life
  • How to avoid the frustration that most people go through when starting a meditation practice
Instructor: David Mercier, M.S., L.Ac. is an acupuncturist, life coach, and an adjunct faculty member at Johns Hopkins University, where his award-winning book A Beautiful Medicine is the textbook for three courses. David began the practice of mindfulness meditation in 1973, and was a Buddhist a monk in Sri Lanka from 1975 to 1977.  www.davidgmercier.com
