Yoga Nidra is among the deepest possible state of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness.  Yoga Nidra or Yogic Sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping.  The body is completely relaxed, therefore reducing stress, anxiety, and has helped with PTSD.  In Yogic Sleep the practitioner becomes systematically and increasingly aware of the inner world by following a set of instructions, a guided meditation into the divine self.

Satyananda Saraswati bought yoga Nidra to the west in the mid-twentieth century.  He explained that the practitioner of Yoga Nidra is in a state of mind between wakefulness and sleep that opens deep phases of the mind.  Being able to teach this Yoga Nidra technique has been a true gift from the universe.  Come receive this gift we all so deserve.

What can Yoga Nidra do for us…

Chronic stress has reached epidemic proportions. It is more prevalent than cancer or heart disease.  It suppresses the immune system and it is the underlying root of anxiety, depression, insomnia, and ADD.  Yoga Nidra holds the master key to reverse this attack on your body, mind, spirit.  It has the power to take you to the innermost, deepest levels of relaxation, where your whole body and being is permeated with peace of mind and profound stillness, opening one to healing.
