Chair Yoga

You may have heard of yoga’s many benefits, but are reluctant to give it a try. You might not be comfortable getting down on the floor.  If this sounds like you, then “Chair Yoga” may be what you need.  The entire class takes place while sitting on a chair or standing.  Other props, like straps and walls may be used, but you will never be required to sit on the floor! You will learn yoga postures to increase flexibility and balance; tone and strengthen muscles, and reduce the negative effects of stress. Further benefits include improved posture, calmer emotions, and more restful sleep.  Eat lightly or not at all before class, and dress in comfortable clothing allows movement.
