In our western culture, it’s difficult to avoid the stress that gets us all wound up into a tight ball to the point where we can’t relax, we can’t sleep soundly, our digestive system is all out of whack, our relationships are in crisis, and we just aren’t enjoying life to the fullest. With excessive unmanaged stress leading to more than 80% of all medical visits, unless we learn to manage stress, we are likely to have a shortened life expectancy with a diminished quality of life. Robert Messick will teach you how to employ powerful yoga techniques, including Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, pranayama, meditation, modification of thought patterns, and Ayurvedic practices, to manage and relieve stress. Suitable for beginners and advanced students alike.

550295_474705889244356_1172713009_nRobert Messick, who began his yoga practice at age 15, is a credentialed 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, a Yoga Nidra Facilitator, certified through Amrit Yoga Institute, and an Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist, certified through Himalayan Institute. Robert also received advanced teacher training in Yin Yoga from world-renowned Yin Yoga teacher Biff Mithoefer. Incorporating Ayurveda in his classes, Robert provides his students the tools to understand and follow the natural rhythms of nature, leading them toward optimal health and well-being, while building a yoga practice of core strength, flexibility, balance, acceptance, compassion, peace, and serenity.
